Since then, we’ve evolved into a beloved family-owned establishment, serving up excitement at our current location right on the edge of downtown San Jose. You might have even seen us when we were featured in the 1989 movie Kiss Shot starring Whoopi Goldberg. And let’s not forget our claim to fame – the legendary Westside Jalapeño Burger. Established in 1981, Westside Billiards stands as a testament to a rich family legacy in the world of pool. The story begins in 1943 when George’s father pioneered the local scene with the iconic “Cue & Cushions” pool hall on 2nd and San Fernando. Following in his father’s footsteps, George, alongside his wife Yvette Tsbaoukos, introduced Westside Billiards to the community, creating a hub for enthusiasts and novices alike.
